i have 1988 cutlass supreme in perfect shape nice as ****...
and i have 85 delta 88 with 160000 miles...
i have 1970 455 buick .30 over with stage 1 cam and 1231786 heads with about 425hp and i was wondering what do you think i should but it in... the big 4 door or if you think it would be better in the cutlass..and was have much more does the full size olds wieght than the small olds

What do those cars have in em currently? Everyone here will tell you the same thing. Put it in the cutty.

This is a no brainer for me, put it in the Cutlass. I did. I've got a 1970 Buick 455 under the hood of my 1983 Cutlass. Been in there for about 3 years now and its a blast to drive. Wish I had an overdrive trans for it though, then I would drive it even more.

i want to put it in my 88 cutlass it has 307ci olds motor with 88xxx miles...just wondering if i could get not to spin the tires off and how it would run in that small of a car..

Put it in the cutlass. You shouldn't even have had to ask anyone that question. Unless your like a soccer mom or something and you need 4 doors for picking up a lot of kids or something. The tires will spin, but wheres the fun if there not?

will the car handle that much power very well... i guess what i trying to find out is that i dont want it to rub the ground everything i let off the gas or when i get a lil crazy with it...

It'll handle it just fine. The Buick 455 is the lightest factory big block from GM. Put an aluminum intake and aluminum heads on it and it'll weigh about as much as an SBC.

same here 454 3 speed 389 gears= short trips. very fun to drive

Im with everyone else put it in the cutty but start saving for a new rear end if your still working with the 7.5. If your having a hard time with the decision I would gladly take it off your hands 8)

www.buickv8.com Has a section on their forum dedicated to doing just that. You have your 88 for work and snow etc and your Cutty for your fun car. You might build the motor first or get your car ready such as getting a rear or headers before pulling the 307 out of your Cutty. When the motor dies in your 88 you can swap in your 307 to keep your beater so that you can keep your Cutty for when you want to drive a nice clean car etc. Assuming you are going to keep the Cutty as a nice fun fast driver you may want to save money up so that when you are ready to pull the 307 you can have the overdrive upgraded for serious torque before the 455 goes in. www.extremeautomatics.com is who built the one for my Grand National and the one for my 509ci Cutty/442.
