What Should I Do With My Gauges?

I'm swapping in a transmission with an electric speedo sensor so should I make a shadow box and use aftermarket gauges or try to shove an aftermarket speedo in my cluster I have now? I have the granny car cluster with dummy lights, a speedo, and a clock, so I'm leaning towards the shadow box idea. Anybody have pics of their aftermarket gauge setups?

The best thing to do is draw up some sketches of what you want and go from there. I have been working on my dash project for about 3 months now rounding up the gauges I want and figuring out what to do with the wiring. The thing with the Monte dash, which is what made me go with a GP dash, is that its smaller and less room for "imagination". Search around the forum and you'll find some custom pieces. Good luck!
