What springs

What springs can I buy for my 86 Cutlass with a 307 to get a .75-1" drop. I think i read somewhere that s10 moog springs would do that.

My other question is, right now i have a 307 with a/c equip and smog stuff out the car and futures plans are for a 403 would i need to get new springs before i do that?

eibach and hotchkis both drop the car around 1"

A 403 isn't any heavier than a 307.

If you need new shocks, the QA-1 coilovers conversions are an option. They are available in several price ranges and 3 spring rates. Then you can adjust the ride height.

if i get 17"rims will i run into a problem with a 1" drop?

nope ,i have 17" X 8" all 4 wheels without any rubbing .
