I'm in the market for my first g body. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for such as places that usually rust or anything?

look for rust under the doors and along the bottom of the body, also look at the rear frame horns, if they seem rusty, poke them with like a screw driver or a knife, if it goes through or you see rust holes dont buy it. also make sure you try all the windoes and doors and look under the hood. take it for a test drive and feel how it drives. if its bouncy itll need shocks. look under the hood and check for painted wires or unplugged or cut wires. check all the lights and if you can, take it through a car wash and check for leaks.

Don't be surprised if the bumper fillers are in bad shape.

Well I picked up an 86 grand prix the other day for $600. Pretty straight body. Runs good too. The paint is crap but I got a buddy thats going to paint it and I'm going to do some work for him. I'm building a 350 right now for it.
