hey guys, I'm just finishing up on my car, and i'm looking to put snow tires on it. I want to have an extra set of rims for it so that i can put snow tires on them and just swap the rims between seasons.
what i need to know though, is what car other than a g-body can i get the rims off of without modifying my car. Mine's an 82 Grand Prix

For snow tires, basically anything with the 5x4.75" bolt pattern, except the 4x4 S-10/S-15 pickups and SUVs, and anything at least 14" diameter. Not that you'd be able to find any decent tires in a 13" anymore anyway. I'd say your best bet would be to look for a set of steelies from an S-10.

I run 16x8's on mine, but you can source some steelies from a newer S10 and get 15x7 in wheels pretty cheap. I think the Astro van also uses that size, and of course every other GM RWD car except for most B and D bodies (Caprice, Fleetwood, etc.). I don't think 4th gen F body wheels work due to backspacing (without a spacer), but 3rd gen ones would except for the rears off a 16 in wheel car (without a spacer).
