Newb here. I've been a regular over at the ROP madhouse for a long time. I just picked up my first G, a 1985 Bonneville. It will be a commuter car.

81, 400 original miles, 231 Buick, mint interior (color and condition), & a little surface rust.

Looking forward to some good information. I consider myself a fair amateur wrench, and will help where I can.

I can't leave things alone; I don't have the willpower.
I have some Eibach Prokits and KYBs on the way from Summit. I don't know if the height will change any, but it will hopefully tighten it up. Someone on the Olds board suggested that a 3rd gen. F-body 34mm sway bar will fit the front; I'll try that. I have some other wheels I am going to try: Olds SS1's w/ 275's and 225's or some polished 10th Anniversary T/A's. I'll ask in the right forum.
Other than that, it's getting an alternator, battery, new belts, exhaust fixed (rigged cat bypass), and some 20% tint.

What's up? Where is central Md considered? Nice car.

I'm in wine country- Mt. Airy. :puke:

Thanks for the compliments. I've been looking for something like this one for a while. Not my first color choice, but it was a deal too good to pass on.

As far as the site, well, y'all got alot of rules. I prefer Anarchy! 😀

Welcome from West Michigan. Bonneville`s are nice Gbody`s. Mom had a 84 with a 305 cid Th350, Sister had a 86 with a 305 cid 200 4R Trans
