Lookin at some tires around a 255/45 /17 or a 245/45/17 for the rear and a 235/45/17 or 225/45/17. Any body have a similar setup .If so what backspacing ,dont want to have them stick out beyond fender and dont want to have to notch frame. Show some pics if u got em , thanks

Well if ya get a flat anytime soon measure her up when u have the wheel off,lol

i got 245/45/17 all the way around 17x8 iroc wheels not sure of the back space as i bought these wheels years ago but they dont rub in the back only on the front sway bar at full lock pics on my cardomain in my sig

I ran 17x8 Boyd's on my '80 Grand Am with 275/40 rear and 245/45 front with no issues at all and the '80 only Grand Am and GP SJ sat 1.5" lower rear and 1" lower front than standard G-body cars. I'll give you a link since I've posted the pic so many times I'll be accused of being a pic wh*re. http://home.comcast.net/~toppop52/grandam1.jpg cropped.jpg

I believe if you go with a 4" back spacing it will cover just about any "realistic" tire/wheel combination. Whether you have a 14"x6" or an 18"x9" rim, a 4" backspace is 4" space

It seems like this question is asked WAY to often. Can someone make a chart and sticky this :?:
