Hello. New owner of a 1986 Cutlass Supreme 2 door. I inherited this car and know little about it. My question is concerning wheels. Currently it has what I assume is stock wheels with spoke hubcaps. Not bad but the car also came with another set. These bolt on just fine and the rears fit with drum brakes but the fronts do not clear calipers and hit tie rod. I have seen a bunch of pictures with these on the same year car so I assumed they would fit. My research tells me these are SS 2 wheels with bolt on center caps. I'm honestly not sure what I'm researching to be honest. I do know I surely want different wheels. If these arent useable, what's another good option. These look awesome but doesnt appear I can use them. Thanks and I look forward to your replies.

Best thing to do is sell them to a guy doing a '72 or older Cutlass then look for the version with the snap on centers. Those were used on '68-'72 cars. A set from a '73 & newer (SSIII's) will work with them being either 14" or 15".

Thank you. What is a fair asking price for these. Ball park.

As nice as the wheels look I’d say around $300.00 for WHEELS ONLY, then the tires depend on how old. They dry rot with age. If they’re fairly new, I’d start asking $7-800.00

Since you want opinions, the later years like the 442/HO chrome wheels are REALLY NICE. Theres also an after market larger version if you want to go slightly bigger. Other than those it depends on your taste. As good as your car appears with all the trim I’d avoid the race car style of wheels and get something that matches the car

So I picked these up today. Pretty good price I feel but the tires gotta go. These are 205/70/14. Looking for opinions on maybe a 215/70/14? White letters. Dont want it to look silly with bulging tires. Thanks
