I know this clip holds the wire that goes to the proportioning valve. Now that the car is mostly back together however I can't find where it goes! Anyone have a picture by chance? Thanks in advance

I know! I know!

It attaches to the BODY. Right below the steering column in the engine bay, you should see a flange where the floor pan meets the firewall. There's a hole where that little clip snaps into. The little U bend thingie goes toward the engine resting on the flange, and the wire obviously is captured in the top section. I imagine the U-shaped deal acts like a tension spring to keep the clip tight from rattling around. I'd take a picture but I'm too lazy to go out to the shop right now. 🙂

Thank you. I realized that the mounting hole is no longer there from when I replaced the floor pan

Drill a new hole. Probably about the size of the skinny part of the pin before the dognut on the clip.

It's just a hair outside of being straight down from where the steering shaft goes through the firewall.

Here's Tony1968 's car. You can see it under the steering shaft. Although it's plugged in from the bottom, not the top like the factory did it. But I guess it really doesn't make a hill of bean's difference though on how you clip it in.
