Hey guys!

It's been ages since Ive been on here. Summer's here!

Anyway, I'm wondering where I would find a G-Force Crossmember for my (200-4R) Regal?

Any chance, or do I have to order off the specific site?

Not sure on that specific part, but pretty much any large catalog company should be willing to ship to Canada.

The problem is most won't use USPS. Shipping across the border with FedEx, UPS, DHL etc. will yeild insane border fees as noted above. Before I learned this lesson, I had to fight with UPS to drop fees that ended up being more than the part and original shipping costs combined! The worst part about it is, that if you don't know any better - you get a suprise bill a month later, or they show up at your door holding your package hostage unless you pay the additional fees. It's rediculous how they don't disclose the fees up front IMO.

yep, exactly.
I bought a part on ebay for $17.50 and the lazy prick would only send ups.
By the time it got to my door, I ended up paying $65.00.

Yup. After that first experience (when I had no idea about the fees), I refuse to buy from anyone who won't ship USPS, regardless of how good of a deal it might be.

FYI - I was able to get the brokerage fees dropped on that experience I had. I called and complained about not being informed about the fees ahead of time and they did end up dropping the fees as a goodwill gesture since I was a first time customer. They said I would still have to pay the GST (understandable), but I never did get another bill.

If you're lucky enough to live close to the border or know someone that does, get the item shipped there and pick it up yourself.... I've been doing this for years to get stuff out of the states. Declare your items at the border, go in and pay your GST and PST and be happily on your merry way.

Back when the Canadian dollar sucked,I ordered a new old stock replacement hood ornament for my Cutlass from the US.It was around $27.After exchange, shipping (UPS),brokerage fees, gst, etc my $27 hood ornament cost me an even $100.The UPS guy stood at my door demanding $30 or I wouldn't get my parcel.$70+ in extra bullsh*t.
I learned my lesson.
NEVER again.
USPS to Canada or I'll pick it up in Ogdensburg NY.
