Where to get clear sticky plastic to protect carpet?

I've seen clear sticky back plastic on new car floor mats to keep them from getting dirty. Where do I get this stuff? Wanting it on my light colored embroidered floor mats

Home depot has it, lowes etc

Contractors use it to protect carpets, runners, stairs

You could also try collision wrap from an auto body supplier we use it to keep water out of wrecked cars when there sitting outside it's like 3' wide and comes on a 50 or 100' roll just make shore the brand you get doesn't have writing on it
