Which headers??????

Ok guys, I was about to order some headers and realied I have no clue which headers will work for a vortec headed 327 with a f body t56 with f body hydraulics. So, my question is which headers? I'll have to have at least an 1 5/8 primary because of the D port heads, I'd like to have 3/8 flanges as well. Shorties or long tubes. Must be affordable on a working mans pay too.

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered some Hedman Elite shorties with ball and socket flanges. I hope I'm not disappointed. I will let ya'll know how they fit. Hopefully I can give a good review.

i'm interested to know how these work out for you. i hear about hooker but not so much about hedman.

I've actually heard a few good things about quality and fitment. 3/8 flange is a big plus along with the ball and socket. I've also heard good things on Hooker but bad as well unless you get the higher end stuff like comp and super comp. Hopefully all will work out for me.

Double check your part# for those hedman headers. Not sure what set it is that I bought. They will mot work with stock motor mounts.

This is the fitment guide, I don't see a problem except it says fits angle plug heads but it doesn't say angle plug heads only. If they aren't right, hopefully summit will take them back, I think I'll be ok, I hope.

Yea just looked at part# not the same. You should be fine with those header with your heads. Best of luck.
