I am going to be making a relay panel and putting it in the kick panel since I have no ecm..Obviously, the cluster of wires furthest left is for that, but what about the other two sets of wires? Can I remove them, or do I need to relocate them?

Also, I have another unrelated question but dont want to make multiple threads...
My defrost doesnt work on high, I've read that its usually the connection to the high speed relay that needs repaired.. From what I have read the wire goes somewhere near the PS valve cover.. But i have an sbc 350. So am I just s.o.l, or is there a way to fix this?

Those wires and such are all for the ECM. The entire harness can be removed.

You're not s.o.l. ( other than having a Chevy engine in an Olds ). It is most likey the high speed relay or just a corroded connector ( the one with the thick red wire going to it ).

Okay cool thanks man.

Nahh, its all the same. Half of em came with chevy motors anyways haha..
Oh ok, must have just been how it was worded where i saw it. It made it seem like it was on the engine itself or sumthn. And I know theres nuthn like that on my 350 lol.

So, went out last night to figure out the high speed issue. Unwrapped the wire loom to see the red wire cut, and 3 black wires spliced into one then cut. Dug around and didn't see the other end of either.. put it to power and it worked. Problem solved lol
