We've all sold cars - why list them in your signature? ESPECIALLY if it not even a G body. I've had 30+ cars - one or two were even really fast - but I don't bother listing them at the bottom.

No one really needs to know that you used to have a '78 Volare

Thanks for letting me vent.

The two cars listed below are parked in my driveway right now:

“......I'd get to tired typing all the cars I've sold over the years!.....”

I hear you. It’d make everything I post about a ½ page long. I’ve got a few other cars too, but I don’t figure the folks here really care about my Mopars any more than the Mopar folks care about my Chevys.

Maybe because they were attached to them. Or maybe to validate their reasoning for being part of the forum. And maybe just cause they want to. Doesn't bother me at all, I'm only 25 and I have problems remembering all of the cars that I've had.

Yep....at 38, I have had my share of cars (150+, since I was 16), and not all of them were winners. I wouldn't put all of them on any list...if I could remember all of them, but I think it's cool to have the ones in your signature, that relate to the forum.....my $0.02.....I don't really care what any one puts in their sig...it's their's.

i personally would rather have a little gif file on a little burn out to show but hide my car. lol

Seems to me they are obviously proud of those cars. Bet if you asked, they would love to tell you lots of stories about any of them.

Not to be contrary here, but I have to wonder - why would you care what's in their sig? People do a lot of things on this board that I don't understand, but I just ignore it. well, most of the time anyhow. 🙂

I know alot of people by there sig or my there avatar.

but agree... some posts i just shake my head and move on.

I consider it a bit odd, too. However, considering the civil attitude that prevails here (unlike many other boards I've visited)and the degree of helpfulness displayed here, I don't let it bother me that someone is proud enough of the cars they no longer own that they show them in every post. I just turned 60 and have been a gearhead since birth, so I could fill half a page with my previous rides. All that typing would wear me out.

Well said Bill.....
