I've been running 235 60R 15, then I put in some SuperComps and...Fail!

What's the widest tire you guys have found to fit these headers?

What super comps are you running? I am assuming you are running the one with the tube that raps around frame..If so you will have to run skinnies up front.. I have the same headers and with a 4" rim and a 165R15 Its cloose.

Or just fab up some steering stops to keep the tire off the tube...
How would I go about this? Sorry for my lack of imagination
If you do that with the size tire you are running good luck at makeing a hard turn. Better have a parking lot.

Yeah, I realize this. I just need to break in the motor for now while I save up to replace my mistake. I'm fine with getting skinnier tires, just not as skinny as yours. Thanks

Try a 215 60 or 65 /15 that might work. I will bolt my gn wheels on my car with the tires that are on it And post up later.

No just tried they wont clear either.

i have the same headers on my cutty. i like them but you gotta be real careful. ide go and check my tire size but the car is still in my buddys garage. Ide like to run skinny's when it's time to get new tires. just gunna deal with it for now. just gotta plan ahead turning into lots.
