i have 15x9 centerline convo pros whats the biggest tire that i can fit on this rim? right now they have et street drag radials but theyre pretty worn, theyre 28 tall 11.50 tread width

I don't think so. 295 mm is 29.5 cm. An inch is 2.54 cm, so 29.5 divided by 2.54 equals 11.62 inches, which seems a little too wide for a 9" rim. I am running 235/55 18s on my 18x9s, so I doubt the same width rim will fit a tire 60 mm (or about 2.5 in) wider.

They would fit. The rim anyway.

A 295/50R15 tire has a rim width range of 8"-10". You'd be right in the middle of that. Perfectly fine.

Go to http://www.tirerack.com and search for the tire size you want. Select a tire and the manufacturer will always have specs that tell you want rim widths that specific tire fits.

If you check a few manufacture's of your tire size, the 9" rim that you have them mounted to is technically too wide. A 235/5518 is listed as fitting a 6.5" to 8.5" rim.

You really could get away with a 275 or possibly a 295 on that rim.

lol yea I know but considering what I paid for the set and how it rides that 1/2 inch really is not a problem. It's much safer and longer lasting than slapping 30 inch rims and a lift on a Gbody with stock brakes and no airbags, let me assure ya.

Or they may be 8.5s, after all, all I did was stick a ruler through them when I bought them and eyed it... and the spokes may have caused it to be uneven enough to be a half inch off..
