I'm putting a 350 in my currently 3.4 V6 powered Monte. Will the stock radiator cool it enough? If not, what are the dimensions of a V8 radiator?

No need to worry about the dimensions...
Just go down to your favorite neighborhood parts store and get a stock radiator for a 305 car.
Shouldn't cost more than $120.

Back in the day when I had a 1979 Monte.....I bought it for $50.00 with a blown V-6, was mint otherwise, no kidding it still had factory seat covers on it...Should, woulda kept it but Pops and I got into one of those fights you regret later in life and I had to sell it...Anyways, I put in a 305 with a Crane Cam Fireball 2, headers and a 4 barrell...Blew that motor and put a mildly built 350 in with a th 350 transmission and a 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears.....Anyways, I kept the original radiator in that car and never had a problem with it overheating.....Keep the one you have and go from there !!! 8)

Just use the v6 one and keep an eye on the temp gauge. It will tell you if it will work or not.

I ran a 3 row 6 cylinder radiator w/shroud in front of a 400 for many years with no trouble. In fact I'd say a 3 row V-6 is better than a 2 row V-8 any day, it's only about 6 inches wider, and if you don't have the correct V-8 shroud it won't work right anyway. Aluminum V-8 replacements are going for cheap and are very good. I have a 4 row equivilant 2 row aluminum in my car and it is awesome.

The reason I was wondering about dimensions is I can also get the aluminum radiator from the donor car if it fits.
