I need to replace my window motor on the passenger's side of the car. I have an almost new motor I salvaged from my old driver's door. Can I use it in the passenger's side?

I might be wrong, but I don't think so. I think they are completely opposite the way they are made. If you look at a left one and a right one they are like a mirror image if that makes any sense.

My dad told me, if my window motors go in the cutlass to turn them upside down and bolt them in that way. He did it in his regal and they worked like they were new. So, give it a shot?

I just replaced one of mine last year, and the one I got from autozone was a universal deal. IIRC there was a piece you had to put on the motor depending on which side of the car it was going on.... again IIRC.
