Hi fellas, my first post here.
I'm trying to help out my dad. He's got a car with a GM 10 bolt, 7.5" rear end.
The axle flanges move visibly when turning. I'm thinking the axles might be twisted or bent. The car had a spooled differential and I'm thinking it may have been run with too grippy of tires.
The rear end is under an Opel GT with a Chevy 305 and powerglide swapped in. We've got a limited slip differential for it now.
I believe the axles may have been shortened to fit under the car.
They are 26 spline axles with a length of 24" inches. I can't find anything listing a vehicle with axles this short. Are these custom, or can I (hopefully) find a set in a production vehicle on the cheap, an AMC/Jeep or something else maybe?
Thanks guys,
Steve

I would probably just get a set of custom length Moser axles for it.
