Ok, I'm looking at running 16" REV classic 100 chrome wheels on my 85 Grand Prix with 225/50/16 tires in the front and 245/50/16 tires in the rear. My GP is running stock suspension and is not lowered or raised at all. Would I have any rubbing issues with this combination at all or could I go even bigger tire-wise? Also, does anyone have any pictures of a g-body running on this tire combination that I could see before I mount these bad boys up on my GP?

Thanks for the help in advance.

UOFLcards,

Before I modded my 83 GP, I used to have 16x8 aluminium wheels fitted with 245/50/16 BF Goodrich Comp T/A VR4 tires, front and rear, without any issues (see picture below).

Hope this helps,

I too am thinking about just going with the 245/50/16 all around. I have stock suspension and the back already a good size higher than the front as is. According to this tire size calculator the 245/50/16 would be almost an inch taller in height than the 225/50/16. That would raise the back even that much more than the front.
