me and my dad just pulled my 1980 Grand Prix out of a 1 1/2 year storage.

it has a sbc 350, th350 and a 7.5 rear.

engine has edelbrock performer rpm intake, headers, and a comp cams magnum 280H cam

i have purchased 3.42 gears and a 3 series posi carrier. and new tires are first. then i have a 2,000 stall torque converter that will be going in.

I can't wait!!

i bought it with the 350 dropped in, i did all the performance upgrades i listed. i did them back in 2007. (i moved out of state for last year and it remained in storage) i was kinda down on the car for a while as all those upgrades made it sound nice it didn't help speed as i still have the crappy stock gears bogging me down. but pulling it out of storage has got me back into the spirit!!

I hear ya on the gears! My car had the 2.41's after my 355 swap and while it was faster than the 3.8 V6 (how could it not be?), it was still disappointing until I did the gears.

Looks really straight and solid; doesnt sound bad either! Same color as mine. Im sure you'll have it going in the direction you want in no time.

Here are my new wheels, 15x7 up front
and 15x8 in rear.

also i haven't had a headliner for a while since mine was sagging, and i finally got around to laying some new fabric. i used some black felt for my red int. the pictures don't really show it too well. basically where we overlapped, i had some spray glue get on the wrong side of the felt and its kinda shitty there, otherwise it turned out very good and hopefully won't sag on me.
