Hey guys, its been a while since I've been on here. Done a couple little things to the 442, like added the Hurst/Olds wing I got from 88hurstolds and fixed up, and did a little tuning to the car. But even better I picked up another project to work on now that the 442 is pretty well set. It's not a g-body but I thought it would be cool to have an old pickup truck, so I bought one. The truck is a 1972 Chevy C10 long bed that I picked up for just under 3k with shipping (only paid 2k for the truck itself). It has a 350, 350 trans, 136k original miles, factory A/C, and is pretty well all original. I bought the truck in Rogersville, Alabama and brought it back up here to Buffalo, NY. Its quite clean with the only rust/rot spots being in the bottom of the doors, and rockers. The rest of the truck is arrow straight with only a handful of dents here and there. I'm planning to do a concours type resto on it and see about taking some trophies.

Heres some pics of stuff....

That 'Cutty looks freeking sweet. The spolier sets that baby off rather nice!! I like the P/U too!!! You gonna take that 'Cutty to the track in Leicester anytime this year???

I might run it this year, I'm still working some bugs out of it and doing a little tuning. But I wouldn't mind seeing what she can do with the warmed over 350 and slightly modded trans in it now.

That truck looks freaking great for only $2000!!!

Thanks! Most people look at it and think its a pile... But its got one thing most other 40 year old vehicles around here could only dream of. Barely any rot haha. Decided to spray off the underside to get all the mud off the frame, and everything still has the factory black paint on it.
