I have an 86' Monte fuel injected 4.3L V6. I have been getting conflicting advice from many different parts stores. I guess since they are not used to these cars being fuel injected or what not. But some have told me this car does not have a fuel pump relay but a fuel pump cut-off instead Another place has told me it has both. Does anyone know for sure or can you tell me where this cut-off sensor should be so I can check myself. Thanks.

Re: Could someone tell me where the fuel pump cut-off switch

You probably have both.
A relay that works the pump when you turn on the ignition, and an inertia switch that will shut off the pump in the event of a collision.

If your parts store can't tell you where they are I'm pretty sure someone here can. If not try asking a GM mechanic or a collision repair shop.

Roger.

Fuel pump relay is on the Right fender in the engine compartment .No cut off switch on a 4.3 EFI
