Man all I have to do was pound a small dent in one tube to make sure it wouldnt hit the control arm. My dad ran them headers in his old 69 442 when he had a sbc in it so I assume they are the same headers for the chevelles.

Small block headers are very different from big block ones. The 2 inch primary tube Hooker`s I am using would not clear the control arm no matter how big the dent was.

You mean the 2455 BBC headers for $169 as opposed to the $500 G-body swap headers?
Lower control arm mount has to be trimmed or header tube dented.

By the way, both are 2" primary tubes.
