A friend of mine rescued a dog that looks exactly like yours. She assumed it was a boxer mix also, then realized it definitely had some pitt in it as it got bigger. It is definitely a hyper dog. When I play tug of war with it, I like to pick it up in the air with the rope. It wont let go!

Decided to do a compression test on my engine. As far as I know, its a stock 70 olds 350. Cylinders 1, 3, and 7 are at 130. The rest are at 140. I know they are good as far as consistency, just was wondering if it is good for what engine it is. As far as I know, it was a 2 bbl motor.

Use stock stuff from a 307. A/c brackets will need modified, but other stuff should work. You would also need part of a power steering bracket from a later 455. It would be the one that the alt also bolts to. You can use all the same pulleys from the 307.

Sometimes a small ridge will wear into the bore and keep them from coming out. I believe they make a lifter puller just for this purpose. It gets a really good grip on them so you can use more force to pull them out.

You most likely have air in the system. Start by bleeding the brakes. If that doesn't fix it, there is possibly air in the master cylinder or the master cylinder is bad.

Not all are windowed main, just the later ones.

I've seen people use long 4x4s that will reach at least 2 or 3 feet past the sides of the body and set those on cinder blocks sitting out side of the body.

By more effort, do you mean the brake pedal is physically harder to push? Or do you mean it is taking longer to stop?

Thanks. So, im assuming the axles are the wrong length? I know the housing wont work, just wanted to make sure I could use the guts. Is $250 a good price? I was hoping I could at least sell the disc brake set up and scrap the rest to make some money back.
