I receiently swapped tht dash in my Monte with a GP dash. The dash was originally green, I changed that to grey. I used all SEM products and the end result was very nice. I started off by cleaning the dash twice as much as I felt was necessary because this was oneof those long dredded jobs that...

Wow, right at 1 year since I've updated this thread! I didn't make the Monte Nationals last year but I did this year & won an award but more on that later. I also did not get the Grand Prix dash swap done last year, but I am almost complete with it now and only have some finishing touches to do...
Not mine but I picked this up today for a friend. This is the beginning of the restoration of the first car he ever purchased. He bought it when it was 1 year old. I tried to but it for parts, now I'm doing a frame off for him. Here fresh from the powder coater is his 1987 Monte Carlo LS.
Thanks Rok, it wasn't always this way. I've been working on it since 2000 on a very tight budget. The wheel & tire package are Boss 338's 18"x8" for the front & 18"x9.5 for the rear with BF Goodrich KDWS 245/40ZR 18 front & 275/40ZR 18 rear.
A few changes for the Monte over the weekend. I got my bumper covers back from the paint shop (front & rear) & got the engine, trans, harness & computer from the truck. Here's a few pics of the progress.....
Still slow with any progress on Christine. Can't ever get off work long enough to get anything accomplished! I did manage to make it to one car show a few weekends ago. It was the local Oldsmobile clubs "Spring Dust Off" car show.
I also got tired of my nose & rear bumper cover not having...
