4.5 pv was causing a lean stumble at light throttle cruising, and with those two light springs and timing all in at 1800 rpm even worse.

6.5 opens at 6.5 or anything less.

you dont build up to it, you drop down to it.

if im idling at 14 inches of vacuum and crack the throttle my power valve is gonna open at 6.5 of vacuum or anything less.

750 aed carb 73 front with 6.5 pv 83 back no pv

anyways, got that light throttle stumble fixed, distributor had two light springs in it timing all in at 1800 rpm. put in one heavy spring and one light spring, 21* bushing. 36* total timing now, 21* mechanical timing, all timing in about 3500 rpm. does not miss a lick now.

6.5 pv opens before a 4.5 has nothing to do with reducing fuel.

did that and fattened up the jets, made a big difference but still had a slight stumble, had to retard timing to clear up stumble. would like to run more timing though. got it at 30* total now.
