Hi. I found a 1984,4 door, Olds Cutlass with the electric trunk opener. Will this work on my 1980 Malibu ? If so,do I need to grab the whole latch/ opener assembly, or will the opener bolt up to the latch that is on the Malibu now ?

I was afraid I'd have to do all that! Oh well,better get to work! Thanks for your help. :D

Thanks for the replies. Is it possible to change the rad support without pulling the whole front of the car off?

Merry Christmas,every one. The rad support on my 1980 Malibu is really rusted by the battery,and I need to know which support will fit in. I found one on Kijji,and the posting says will fit G body from 1978 to 1988. Are they all the same?

I was in the Cambridge auto wreackers yard( east of Cambridge on Hwy #97),and there where a few G bodys.I scored a perfect driver's side door hinge off of a 4 door Cutlass for $10.00! I know the yard up here in Waterloo has a couple,but they can be expensive.( they wanted $30.00 for same hinge).

I picked up a tilt colum for my car,but it doesn't have the turn signal lever. I thought it would just unscrew form the old one(this is a 1980 model,so it only works the turn signal/high beams),but this is not the case! Anybody know how to remove the arm? I have the old colum apart,but still...
