    Front suspension questions

307 Regal; I appreciate your input. Actually, the front on mine sets a little lower already than I prefer as far as looks are concerned, though that might change some by just doing a stock rebuild as currently my control arm bushing are totally worn out. I replaced the factory 305 engine with a...

    Front suspension questions

I still haven’t purchased any parts yet but currently considering these coilovers in the 550 spring rating and maybe this set of control arms. I suppose I could go with these control arms and just get a set of drag type springs and shocks but still like the idea of not having to deal with coil...

    replacement control arms

So what is everyone’s recommendation for a reasonably priced decent quality set of replacement control arms? Both factory style and/or tubular.

    Front suspension questions

Bracketchev1221, that’s a nice looking Chevelle. A slight improvement in quarter mile performance would be great but actually I have to rebuild the front suspension on the car and discovered the availability of coilovers. Very interesting response, thanks. I hadn’t even considered needing a different lower control arm. Is there a preferred brand and/or source for the coilovers and control arms? Is anyone offering them as a kit? Thanks again for your help!!!

    Opinions on Pontiac cams

Spider; I was hoping you would post a video of that engine at idle I was curious what it would sound like. That Summit 2800 appears close to the factory “P” or 067 cam just with more lift. Had the 067 cam many years ago in a 400 and it worked really well. Sounds a little better in your 350...

    need a little help

I'm not sure I fully understand what you are asking either but to me it sounds like you may just want a stiffer return spring on the carburetor so you get more feel when you press more on the pedal.
