I've got a set of ARH's being made right now, expecting delivery in a couple weeks. So I know the benefits of coating headers, but is it 100% necessary with SS? I think the biggest hurdle is finding someone to do it local, researching DYI methods now including Cerakote.
I know someone has done it. I have the oem 85 9" booster now, my BBOlds valve covers barely squeeze in now. I'm switching to the cast aluminum Olds covers and want a little more room. What size, brand, part #.... whatever info have you gone with?
I'm putting in new glass and I'm swapping over the pieces that attach to the glass. All the pieces are pretty self explanatory except the guide piece. It looks like it has some kind of rivet?? holding it together.
Has anyone taken this apart? and what did you do to put it back together?

I broke down and got a bracket for the back of my console instead of letting it float around. Can anyone help me with the thread size and length? Is this a self tapping screw? The bracket I have doesn't have threaded holes. Thanks.
