You can pick up both upper and lower ball joints for both sides at Advance for about $60 out the door. Then rent their ball joint replacement kit, once you return it you get all the money back from the rental fee. The job itself is more time consuming than expensive.... :arrow: I've been...

Grit was probably the metal powder used in conjunction with a powerfull magnet to check for cracks after dipping. Sounds like they were not too professional.
