BUILD THREAD 81 Monte Carlo

I made a build thread a while back and unfortunately it was locked.

This is an 81 Monte “SS clone”
I didn’t clone the car myself I think it happened around 88. The car was from upstate NY and had some rusty floors. I replaced the floors and began the build. Anyway, here’s some progress pictures!

5.3, 243 heads TBSS intake “gt45” turbo, “the best cam with a 4l80e and 8.8.

I’ll be running the Holley Xmax with a 6.8 in dash.

Really just the look of it. At first I was all about it, just worried I might get some sh*t from the police. I may replace the old harwood cowl with a bubble hood. If so I’ll reroute the exhaust

Those look good on there, from what I have seen the police haven't been as aggressive with stuff at least out my way

Here’s the Trick Chassis core support with the intercooler mounts and headlight mounts. I really like the way it looks and it freed up a bunch of space.

I was able to prime the engine last night. Also wrapped the charge pipes a few weeks ago and fit everything up.
