I have a f-body spoiler on my Monte, no trimming or spacers were needed and the turn down ends are 3/4" from the front end to the top of the quarters.

I built resin cast spacers for mine and duraglassed them on and sanded the joint smooth. I then removed the short studs and put in longer ones. Wasnt sanded out completely here yet in the pic I showed. If your interested I might be able to cast up a set sometime when Im home next. I think I get $35 for them, I can look and see what I charged last time. They include mounting diagram, spacers, studs, and mounting hardware.

That looks very much like a spoiler i took off from a mitsubishi don't know what make or model was about 10 years ago. I put it on my o 84 cutlass I sold a few years ago, R.I.P casper. I like to spoil my cars too, lol.
