So here's this month's nominees. This month we let the member say in their own words something they're thankful about their gbody for.

FYI, feel free to check the nominations thread for a little extra pics or info for some cars: https://gbodyforum.com/threads/enter-now-november-2023-g-body-of-the-month.88236/

Theres limits to how much we can put in a thread. I tried to be fair, if there was little text, but lots of pics, Some entries got more of their extra pictures. If lots of text, maybe less pictures copied over, so, check the nomination thread out. Anways, here you go:

"I'm thankful for the 1978 Regal I've had since I was 15 (almost 40 years) I'm also VERY thankful for the Holley Sniper EFI I installed this year which makes me work extra hours for tires."

"My buddy Ronnie, knew him for a long time. He had a shop and when I bought my SS in November 2010 he closed for a week after Christmas of that year and we built my SS into a running & driving car. Had a couple buddies come over too during that week and we got it done. In with a 305/2004R, drove out with the LS/T56. We did alot of cruising around after that having fun with the car. He passed away a few years ago from dimensia. Was a great guy would help anyone he could.

With his help at the time it got the SS setup into what I've built it currently into. Took these pics before I lowered the nose but they work."

"I'm thankfull that when i sold my car in 1999 that the guy stripped the performance parts and left it at his moms house and never the transferred the title. 18 years later i got it back to build a second time and on paper it was mine the whole time. This was the pic of the first time i saw it in 18 years."

"I'm thankful for my car as a whole, it taught me how to problem solve, think on the fly, and become adept at emergency fixes. And arguably, the fact it was my first car, made me a better driver. No abs, no ipad in the dash, no distractions or nanny devices."

"Since we were called out (in a good way of course) he's the Jr. Mechanic being entered under me for this month. I'm thankful he has motor oil running through his veins & wants to do a father & son project. He's thankful for having his first car & having a dad who'll help getting him get it ready."

"Thankful to still own this car. Last summer was bad. Wife missed a month of work due to severe stomach issues ( I had to miss work to take care of kids). One month later lost job and had to start over in a new field. Sold off all my parts. Almost had to sell the car. Thankfully I did not have to part ways."

Just a bump to keep this near the top of the 'recent activity' leaderboard so folks know there's voting going on while our header/banner doesn't yet reflect the voting...
