If you look on the MonteSS.com site, I believe there is an article there on an LS1/6 speed swap as well.

I would also do the T-56 over the plain T-5. First I don't even know if a T-5 would bolt up to a LS motor, second you'd blow the thing in about 5 seconds. My friends stupid 5.0 Stang rips those things apart and it's slow as poop.

I am just getting started on mine. Chassis comes back from powder coating next week. Then once the suspension is on, I can start on installing the LS1.
