MPG Debate!!!!!

ok here's the deal...my woman has a 2008 impala with a 3.5l v6...i have my 86 442 with a 74' 350 and 200r4
we both have 17 gallon tanks...now we were talking about mpg's and she said if she fills her tank up, she could basically from grand prairie, tx to shreveport, la...which is about 206 miles...and back on one tank of gas...when she drives she goes about 70 to 80...she is saying that her tank isn't full until the hand goes passed F ...but to wrap it up i get there on a tank and a half...and i know on 17 gallons, in an impala it would be 3/4 tank...i rented one before to come see her and i wasn't speeding
Tell me what you think about that!!!!

Just do math Gallons into Miles ... She should get 25 cor better (mom dad get 30 on theirs ) You wont break 20 ish MPg

According to her shes getting 24 ish MPG

i dont care about getting good mpg....it was a right or wrong talk...what im saying is with her tank at 17 gal. she cant go 412+ miles on one tank with the way she drives....

She very well could make it there and back on one tank.

My '98 Intrigue with the 3.8l V6 managed to get just a tick over 28mpg doing 70-85mph.

It only had a 15 gallon tank but at that mpg, I could have made the 412 mile journing with just .3 tenths of a gallon of fuel left.
