Got a little more done tonight, got the floor framed out for the new floor sheeting. I had to frame it because the floor was very uneven so this was the best way to even it out and look good in the end. also got rid of the buick ornament on the front for a new mascot.

well i tried to sheet metal it all but f'd up the first sheet, couldn't get the hang of plug welding, but also didn't have any kleeco's either, so that would have helped a lot. but either way i decided to use a high grade plywood instead, the higher grades are finished on at least one side so you dont have the texture of the grain. i marglassed all the edges then sanded it all down. got the first coat of bed liner on, a couple more coats and it should all blend nicely. Still have to take the tank and compressors out to bed line that area as well, but the trunk should be all done then.
the skull was an awsome idea. Im gunna have to find some sorta emblem because I dont have one, I may just take it off all together though. that trunk is awsome!
Got the dash panel glassed for the radio(moved up) and air gauges. i covered it in brown tweed and painted the radio bezel the color that I hope to paint the car. got a start on flipping the hood too, might have some progress shots tomorrow night or tuesday, depends on how it goes.
I got supports/mounts mounted in the hood, and a coat of marglass on them, i will finish the final coat of filler on them when i finish the bodywork on the car. I have the hinges modified and located on the car, hopefully i can get it mostly done tonight.
