Old tires low mileage

Ever wonder why RV & camper types seem to cover their wheels?

Ultra Violet light eats rubber - here in Florida 3 -4 year old tires show cracks and dry rot.

Tread depth and safety are not necessarily related.

Jut my .02

If you can, take the tires off the wheels and look inside and out for any cracking, separating, belts showing, then mount and fill them with air and check them over again. It's all about separating and cracks.

lol, not quite. Grandpa bought it from Colonial Chrysler Plymouth in June of 1972. ;)
