What would cause a no start condition in an 84' Cutlass Supreme with a fresh rebuilt carb and new fuel filter any suggestions????? Will be trying cap, rotor, and coil next!?

yes i'm sure it is getting fuel and as towards spark i haven't checked yet! but i did romove the cap and it was pretty worn down and the same with the rotor

I'd make sure you have spark before tossing parts at it. but thats just me
pull a plug wire and ground it out to the block and have someone turn the motor over (dont hold onto the wire) ;)
replacing the tuneup parts isnt a bad idea if they're that worn though

pulled the cap off the other day and found out that the timing is way off so i gotta reset the timing and also the cap and rotor were definatly shot so thats more in the pile. and also still looking for a radiator
