This morning I was checking the fluids on the Hurst getting it ready to start driving it warm weather is coming. When I was checking the brake fluid happened to look down on the plastic fender well driver side below the vacuum ball. What I seen blew my mind, an olds rocket symbol below the fender well part number. This is a first for me and worked on these cars when new for a living not that I was looking for it back then.
Just curious if other members that have Olds Cutlass, Hurst and 442 have seen this on there fender well.

442s did not come with the rocket. At least not past middle of Feb 85 production. Part number changed to 22527623. Had a different part number for the driver side liner every year from 1981 at some point in the runs until 1985-88 model years.

22507434 was the part number for the passenger side from 81-88. I never did look at it though, wondering if it has a rocket on it? Oh wait. Found a picture. It does. In fact, it has two.

1981's 22507435 appears it did NOT have a rocket on it. Unless someone has a better/wider frame picture of it.

That first picture of the passenger fender well, what location on the fender well is the part number on. Is it by any chance under the coolant tank.

About the opposite side of the driver side part number. Probably find it under the accumulator area.
