He's so hyper, he makes several notable errors while speaking, but interesting story nonetheless. The cars up there must be so far gone, only a very deep pocketed individual could save any of them. A few "G" bodies have popped up in the West El Paso yard in recent years, rock solid bodies and sheetmetal. A lot better condition than that pile.

Metal mites (salted roads) are bad up here ( I live about 25-30 miles from that town). You can find save-able ones but are work unless garaged. Makes good for parts. You have the area that interiors and rubber parts rot bad or motors died with perfect sheet metal . It’s a +/- thing.

Prayers for Steve. Apparently he has a brain infection, and is pretty sick. Hopefully he has a full recovery.

Apparently Rick Debruhl from Barret Jackson auctions as well as Tony from Uncle Tony's Garage and Joe Zolper from Garage Squad are asking folks to subscribe to the Steve Magnante YouTube channel and watch the repeat videos/ comment and send prayers and well wishes so the man still will get paid through the channel while he fights the infection.
Here's hoping he recovers.

I did a "frame off" of a six cylinder '80 Malibu in New England in the very early nineties. Car appeared near perfect from twenty feet away, but upon inspection of under the rear frame rails, almost all of the rails were gone. Bumper was about to fall off. Had all six rearward mounts rebuilt, with new metric inserts. Thirty years on, have to wonder in what shape any remaining specimens are in.
