Found this on the net thought it might work for the tailgate comments. Also read a post on Dixie restorations from way back that said Malibu trunk weatherstrip works well comments . Found a pair of front door outer window sweeps from them with stainless trim and ordered them.

Are you referring to the rubber piece across the top of the tailgate, or the one around the perimeter opening? I'm guessing the latter. The piece across the top of the tailgate no one has ever reproduced. Regarding the perimeter weatherstrip, you have several options.
