I just put a 455/t400 into my 88 cutlass and love the power - but the shifts are way too soft. What are you guys running for shift kits in t400s? I want something suitable for the street. Is there much of a difference between TCI/BnM/TransGo? Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Ive used B&M and transgo alot. both are pretty good and don't hurt the wallet. Is the 400 built up at all? what you power output?

I put a cheap B&M kit in my TH400 2 years ago and it shifts hard! Is behind a stock 400 chevy and I chirp the tires shifting gears at around 4000rpm.
