Weird wiring issue....

There are very few circuits that are hot at all times. The lights are one of them. I would start at the headlight switch and start testing wires. The only one that should be hot is the one feeding 12 volts at all times. Other wiring found here- http://www.maliburacing.com/wiring.html

Well I found the issue. It was the harness for the taillights, brake lights, marker lights, etc... That was the only harness I didn't swap out. The original 87 harness had 1 extra wire. For what I have no idea. For sh*ts and giggles I took the rear harness out of the 83 and swapped it in. As soon as I swapped it everything went back to normal. Thanks for the help guys. Guess I shoulda checked that first.
