Did GM balance rotors at one time. I find it impossible these are original rotors.

I have seen that in the past. It was a balance thing I always assumed. I worked at an auto parts store (shout out to Utica Murray's. You know who you are) I can't definitively say that GM did it as when they came in to get cut I never cared to ask. I know I don't remember seeing it on any replacement rotors I sold. That doesn't mean it didnt happen, and since rotors got replaced pretty fast it's likely not an original rotor unless you have a low mileage car.

Yep. The vendor was not going to throw out a casting and the General was not going to pay to machine them more than the minimum possible.
