Wiper screen? What is this called??

I've made numerous purchases from him with only one being infuriating, but I'm currently doing business with him again since we worked it out.

Use a shop vac and clean out any leaves and crap that's fallen in there too. Make sure the drain isn't clogged either.
I vac out all the dust and debris but didn’t know there a drain I must go back and go through it again
It's a little flap. Make sure it opens and closes. If not eventually youe floor qill.get wet and fool you into thinking it's a heater core or windshield problem.
more than that. if your hands are small enough, reach down in there and wipe out the nasty mulch-like residue from all the decomposed leaves, etc, using paper towels. mine had about 0.5"-1" deep yuck
