Just wondering if anybody had any experience using one of these inexpensive $170.00 g body crossmembers off ebay? How's the fit up and design? I need a dual exhaust TH350 crossmember and don't think I can even come close to building one for 170. Any thoughts?

Absolutely would be all over the Jegs one for $110, buy it and be done.
I have the Jegs 700R4 one in my SS with a little modification to hold the T56 up. At the time it was like $75 when I got it, late 2010. Excellent quality for the price.
I plan on grabbing a stock double hump transmission crossmember from an '84-'02 Crown Vic, '92-'02 Grand Marquis, or from a '90-'01 Lincoln Town Car. They're merely ≈3.5" too long overall- cut the ends off, flatten 'em, and drill holes and they fit our cars perfectly, even the trans mount (IIRC). Then you can run true dual exhaust.
Here's a pic from under a Grand Marquis, borrowed from fordforums.com:
as Sweet_Johnny said, the only way to go cheaper is with a junkyard crossmember. should run you less than $20. and those Ford Crown Vic x-members are powdercoated from the factory
The cheapest way would probably be cut out a notch on the driver's side of your factory crossmember and weld in metal to reinforce it..
Plus you know it already fits your car without other modifications
