Discovered my largest windmill palm tree is flowering for the first time. Its producing female flowers which look like green corn kernels. I have two more windmill palms but they are not big enough to begin flowering yet, hopefully one is male so I can get some palm seeds.

If you do that you might have to put some performance parts stickers on the rear window 😏
I was thinking more of a sleeper look- handicapped placard, tissue box on the dash, and a AAA bumper sticker.

You know they did make the Lacrosse in 08-09 with the 5.3L LS4? Mechanically identical to the Grand Prix GXP and the Impala SS. Front wheel drive is obviously a limitation, but they are still relatively quick and make V8 noises.

I had been fighting with electrical gremlins on my Cobalt for the last year or so. After trying new grounds, extra grounds, and even a different ECU from the pick a part nothing seemed to help.
It had been getting worse over the last 6 months and I was over it. Getting hard to start also didn't help it's case.
I had Friday off and went to look at it's potential replacement.

2017 Jetta GLI Autobahn with 56K KM (35K miles)
Has a few small cosmetic issues. Small dent on the hood, some scuffs on the rear driver side door, and some marks in the interior. But overall well looked after 1 owner vehicle.
A stick would have been nice, but honestly I am happy with the rest of the spec.

There are a few things I would like to do to it. Mainly the same Magnaflow exhaust and APR intake (and tune) my last Jetta had. It's for sure an upgrade over the cobalt.

Finally got the sum b*tch to stop leaking and this happens
First it was a rock chip, then I think a brass fitting I had in the glove box got launched into it when I closed the lid.

I just noticed I never gave us a 2024 thread... it's probably past time. Everything will get moved over here.

Meanwhile, the prior 2023 edition thread is located at:
