That Ciera looks cool Jack. Are those aftermarket rims?
Jeff,
The rims are from a fwd Pontiac Bonneville. They're 16 x 8's with 205/55 x 16 tires. Same diameter as stock, but more meat on the road.

Right now I am driving a 2016 Z71 but I am thinking about a Tacoma off road. I hate to say but I have been a Chevy fan since before I started driving. I owned a GM Delco Tech shop and swore I would never change. Here's the story.
I bought a 2007 Z71. Didn't drive it too much as I was on the road a lot with work. With in 70k miles I had to put 2 oil pumps in it. First was under warranty. I sold that to my son in 2014 with just over 70k miles and it is still doing fine. Bought a beautiful 2014 Z71. In 2 years paint was coming off on 5 panels. They said they will paint under warranty. What part of a 2 year old truck with 40 k miles do you think I want painted? Much to the credit of my local dealer we struck a deal and I got the 2016. At an early mileage I stated to have intermittent transmission issues. It finally manifested itself at 25k and I took it to the dealer. 3 weeks later I got it back. (They did give me a new loaner and have been terrific) Trans is still acting up very intermittently. 36k warranty so I am running out. Toyota has a 200k warranty. I am very disheartened at Chevrolet. Wife drives a 2010 Camaro with 100k miles and it has been terrific. Local Cairo Ga. dealer terrific. I get the intermittent drivability issues as I was a drivability tech for many years. If it had a 100k warranty I may would keep.
It actually saddens me.

What I don't like about the car is that there's no gauges monitoring oil pressure, water temp, volts, etc...except an idiot gauge for water temp.. .

That was one of the things I loved about the old '94 LeSabre I had before the Camry. It had a 120 mph speedo, a tach, voltmeter, oil psi, and water temp gauges from the factory. I ran 15w40 Chevron Delo in it and the motor was spotless inside. It was too bad the car around it rusted away.

My daily year round driver is my 2003 Taurus fully loaded with leather interior that just hit 60,000 miles (bought it off a little old lady in 08)

I love the Taurus wagons from that generation, I'd buy one if I could find a clean one.

I was living the 13mpg life dailying my Cutty for a few years until I bought this cherry 96 S10 LS Extended Cab for 700 bucks. Only has 130k on it and when I had it up on the lift.. It's like brand new underneath. Never seen an S10 in this good of shape! The 4 wheel drive works, AC works, Heat works, and it just had new tires put on before I bought it. Love it!

My '98 Silverado and my '12 Camaro are the primary daily drivers. I definitely drive the truck more, at least until the wheels for the Camaro get mounted.

Natasha drives a lightly modified 2015 Z71 Colorado crew-cab longbox 4x4, and I fart around in an AWD 2007 Trailblazer SS with Procharger and some other junk.

I haven't owned a personal daily car since 06' as I've had company cars. The latest is my 14' Escape that functions for work and a hunting vehicle clocking 142K miles.

Other than the Malibu, Road King, 06' GTI and 01' Cherokee. I have too many cars
