Mich,
You finally were able to find a replacement for the "old" truck. Looks like a nice clean truck.

Thanks Jack. It took quite a bit of searching to find a low mile truck that wasnt 20 hours away. This was a trade in at a GMC dealership. Its got less options than my '11 but I can live with that. The only thing I had to add was the GM remote start kit. The module was already in the truck but I had to get the key fobs and have the dealer program the BCM to turn it on. In the end it was over $300 but I use the remote start all the time. Especially in the colder temps like were having now.
I just hope I have good luck with this one. The dealer hooked me up with a deal on a GM factory bumper to bumper warranty to 96K miles. Plus it was certified so the first 12 months/12K miles have a $0 deductible.

Sad thing is this truck had never seen a winter road. Until now.

I have too many cars

Blasphemy!

My wife said 6 was too many for just 2 drivers, so we sold the S10 her dad bought new. Biggest.Mistake.Ever.

Then the Vette, the Mustang GT ragtop, the Bonnewagon

Now live 40 miles from work, and sure could use the econo aspect of the S10.

Right now the daily is my Wagon, because it's winter. I also use it the rest of the year as the beater, and take the kids to baseball and football practices where they can get in with their muddy cleats, and our Golden Retriever rides in the back. The roof rack gets a workout on runs to Lowes. My daily from April through November is my 78 Olds Delta 88 of which I'm the third owner. I bought it as-is minus the wheels and tires about five years ago with 66,000 miles. Now has 99,000. 350/350 trans and still blows cold with R12 in the AC system.

I like the Delta 88! Trying to find a decent 2 door.

2007 Mazda 6S with the 3.0L. This thing has 162xxx on the clock, it has a healthy appetite for coilpacks, but overall it's been a good car. We've had it since 2010, and I commute about 75 miles/day to work and back so most of the mileage is highway.
I've done a few mods to it, but the Summit stickers made it WAY faster ;)!

Greetings guys; As time goes by we tend to accumulate more stuff! I still got my ole' work car & I've been retired over 9 years now. But I don't drive it in the winter. And when I did work if a storm was due or fresh salt was on the roads I take the wife's UTE or Pa's Malibu Max. I still drive the ole' work car as a DD in the summer if no rain is in the forecast. It's the wife's UTE if rain is coming. I'm so lucky to have what Cramer calls a quality problem during the summer, GuTOo or Bronze brick?? Since the wife's UTE is my winter DD I'll move on to it. Well it was a 2011 Dodge Journey R/T up until December when I talked her into selling it. So we purchased a used 2014 SRX (I wanted more room in the garage). Ya know how a can of worms can turn into a pail of snakes or worse yet a barrel of octopus! I was on the phone telling my buddy out West that we were considering trading the Dodge off, well he said I'll buy it as it was the cleanest UTE he & his wife had ever seen (He lives in the desert dust). As he & his new wife had visited us in September, we hadn't seen each other in 45 years! Well after he bought it & paid for it we used the money to help purchase the SRX. I was to deliver the Journey this coming March. Well he changed his mind about 2 weeks later & purchased another UTE, so he tells me to go ahead & sell the Journey for him & send him the money. So now I have TWO UTE's in the garage as I'm paying for storage on the GuTOo now. Anyway one is for sale if anyone is interested. I'll post a picture of both. Ya see life isn't as simple as we would like it to be. Ole' Bob.

My daily's spring to fall are my 88 Cutlass and my 70 Cutlass. My youngest daughter will be driving the 88 this summer, although I will probably use the 88 for long trips. In the winter, my 2000 Dodge Dakota with a 5.9 swap. I also drive the 2010 Stone White Challenger SE year round whenever my wife doesn't have it.
